TIMELESS REFRESH
Our client engaged us after their initial architectural planning well exceeded their budget to expand and renovate. They were looking for a solution, a way to move forward to achieve their dream home, that also sat within their financial range.
The existing facade of the property was refreshed, in keeping with the streetscape and its original character. Clean, natural materials were fitted throughout with the use of stone, timber and polished concrete.
The extension at the rear has soaring heights with floor to ceiling glass, visually framing the view of the backyard. The space is voluminous and saturated in natural light, with doors that fold back onto themselves, creating a true indoor/outdoor entertainment space. We continued the theme to maximise the light and connection to nature by building in custom window seats.
A pitched framework of black steel at the rear provides definition with a striking silhouette from the backyard, with an interrupted view leading the eye through to the front of the home. With our ability in keeping the design, project management and trades in house, this allowed us the ability to deliver a renovation to exceed the expectations of our client, within budget.
