REFINED BUNGALOW LIVING
The owners of a character rich Californian Bungalow, set within a quiet tree lined street approached us to advise them on renovating their investment, for the way they wanted to live.
The restoration of the property’s heritage features, such as the leadlight doors and fireplaces lead the way through to the contemporary extension and second floor.
The new extension of sweeping living spaces included a high-end kitchen with floor to ceiling custom cabinetry for maximum storage. Fitted with European appliances and a butlers pantry. The dining room has connectivity to the living room, complete with an electric fireplace for ambiance.
We designed not one but two master suites, both to have a sense of retreat. One of the suites has an Oriel Bay window overlooking the leafy streets of Surrey Hills. Another of the ensuites was fitted with a freestanding limestone bath for luxury. Marble and European oak timber floors were selected for continuity and warmth.
